U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (includes the CDC, FDA, NIH) sponsored TV advertisements have now hit the media trying to make it hip to push the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. This is not about educating the public; it’s about coaxing compliance. These ads were likely pre-planned to be released now when less people would think they need the flu vaccine, and the basic message is in the absence of getting the vaccine you can’t "fight" the illness (complete misinformation). Good citizens brandish band-aids as evidence of fulfilling their civic duty. Propaganda in the form of "together we can all fight the flu" attempts to put pressure on people to think that if you don’t get the vaccine you are somehow responsible for someone else getting the flu (a pathetic notion because you might as well blame me for your weakened immune system). Do you find this propaganda justifiable? Or, is it an insult? You think it will actually convince anyone to get the vaccine?

Do meanings of Names,really matter?
I asked yesterday about unique and different names,because i’m writing a sort story and need names for the people. Someone had suggested a really good site that i’m looking at write now,they say the meaning of the names. 2 names i had used as an example yesterday were,Brookelle and Megara. Megara means ”To Grudge” And then Brookelle doesn’t have a meaning,that i have seen. So does it matter about the meanings? Some of the prettiest names have the worst meanings. Like i found out the name Mary means ”Sea of Bitterness”

An ugly name with a pretty/amazing meaning is still an ugly name. I would NEVER choose a name based on meaning alone.

I would however, if I was stuck between a few amazing names, compare meanings to help make my decision.

Too much importance is often put on meaning and not enough is put on what the actual name sounds like.

Mary is one of my favourite names, along with Mia which has the same meaning, and the meaning doesn’t bother me.
However, if I’m just considering adding a name to my list and I don’t quite love it yet, the meaning can put me off. An example of this is Cecelia; I was considering it, then I found out that it means ‘blind’. So, I picked the similar Celia which means ‘Heaven’

Meanings of names don’t really matter. It’s not like someone is going to come up to you and say, "Hey, what does you name mean?" ,and the same thing with a story. I don’t really think so. Most experts seem to agree that the name "Brenden" means "smelly hair" (though some websites gloss over this and give the nicer –but made up–meaning "prince") but this hasn’t really affected it’s popularity.
Rebecca means "to bind" (with both positive and negative associations) and people haven’t shied away from it either.
I think that what matters more is the meaning that people themselves assign to names. Adolph, for example, means "noble wolf", but no one cares because it makes us think of Hitler.
For Americans, when we hear Benedict, we think "traitor", though the name itself means "blessed" or "well-spoken".

A Question to all Cincinnatians who've been to Spring Grove Cemetery?
I’ve been wondering about this for a while. This was a few years ago, and I’ve never really asked anyone about it for fear they’d think I’m a bit crazy.
It was early summer and I was learning to drive back in the cemetery because it’s so large and there are lots of narrow roads and there aren’t likely to be many cars back there at all, making it an ideal place to learn. I was with my dad and he dozed off in the car, so I decided to pull over for a bit while he napped since I’d been driving for over an hour and wanted to stretch my legs. We were at the Dexter memorial which is one of my favorite spots in the summer. The trees are beautiful, the lake is peaceful, and the memorial itself is lovely. But then I heard music. I though I left the radio on, so I went back to the car but I hadn’t. People often do yoga there on nice days so I thought someone must be by the lake near the memorial. But no one was there. I walked around the whole memorial looking for anyone, but no one was there. I even thought someone might be being buried near by and perhaps there was music for that, but nothing. The further I got from the memorial, the fainter the music became and the closer I got, the louder it was. I could only assume it was coming from inside the memorial, but as always, it was locked and chained and there were the usual webs accumulating behind the gate as though no one had been there for quite some time. The music was beautiful, almost like a music box in that it had the light tinkling quality, but it was different somehow. Almost like the high keys of a piano. Had it not been for the location, I wouldn’t have said it had a haunting quality to it at all.
I don’t believe in ghosts and this is the only thing even near a "paranormal" experience I’ve ever had, but I was curious as to whether anyone has ever experienced something similar near the Dexter memorial?

The crow daily brought small sticks, fire woods near the cave. And also told owl leader searching of crows etc., The owl leader put full confidence on the crow.
just after 2 months the beginning of the summer..one day at day time.. it went to the crow group and asked all the crows to bring one small fire wood each to put at the entrance of the cave. All the crows brought the sticks, fire woods and put it promptly as told by the crow chief minister.
The owls not able to see what is happening at the entrance since they will not able to see in the day time. Then all the fire wood, sticks got fire at the entrance and the smoke, fire heat surrounded inside the cave and all the owls dead.

How do i fix a chair leg that my dog has chewed the finish off of?
Help! My three month old bulldog puppy has chewed one of the legs to my dining room chairs and the finish is completely gone. How do i fix it without having to get another chair?

I can’t tell you how to fix the chair, but I can tell you about a spray you can spray on stuff to keep the dog from chewing. It is called Boundary. You spray it on whatever you don’t want the puppy to chew on. The only problem is you have to do it every day. It works!

Does Controller under the Patents Act or Designs Act have the authority to veto the examiner's report?
When you apply for a Patent before the Patent’s CONTROLLER or in case of Industrial Designs’ before the Designs’ Controller the said Controller refers the application to the Examiner. The Controller has to consider Examiners’ Report and then register the Patent or Design.

there is a bump beneath my gums in my mouth that sometimes hurts and oozes a foul tasting fluid. what is it?
it is just above my last molar on top. i’ve seen a doctor twice and they did not even seem to see or understand what I was showing them. I also had my dentist look at it and he said it was bone reacting to me grinding my teeth. It has gotten more sore lately, also has been oozing more lately. it is making me worried.

I do not know what kind of dentist you went to but if you have a bump above your tooth on your gum tissue that is oozing foul tasting fluid, that my friend is an abscess. The fluid is puss and you better get it properly checked out as soon as you can.
