Well, i’m looking for a place where i can find images of models like non-assembled. Sides, wings, propellers and wheels. I want to print them, glue them to a piece of cardboard, cut them out and assemble them. if you know a site like that post the link below.

Should I pay back Wachovia now? Or should I save?
My wachovia account was closed around last month due to around $292 in overdraft fees. I want to pay them back, but I im not sure that if that should be my highest priority right now. I need to buy my first car..Im 18. Right now I am driving my mom’s car and its not in the greatest condition.Furhtermore, it is around 154,000 miles now. I wanted to get a new car before this car reaches 200,000 miles. I am looking forward to a tax refund of around $1000(from my father claiming me). and a school refund check of around $300. I was thinking that I had two options:

A. Spend the school refund check on the balance that I owe Wachovia.
B. Put into my savings account so I can buy an used car.
I already have a bank account that I can use as well as a credit union. But it is annoying that I cant open a bank account again anywhere until i pay off wachovia. however, i do know what my goal is.

what should i do?

Contact Wachovia and see if they will offer you a settlement if you walk in with cash. If I were you, I might offer up $100.00 cash to wipe out the whole amount. This is pure profit to the bank and they are usually glad to salvage what they can.

Otherwise, yes, it could end up on your credit report.

How do you determine the value of sigma with infinity as the upper parameter?
For instance, I designed the sigma equations below.

X=sigma[1, infinity, (-1)^(k-1)*1/(2^k)]
X=.3333…= 1/3.

sigma[1, infinity, (-1)^(k-1)*1/(3^k)]
X=.2499…= 1/4.

How do you arrive at these answers without plugging in iteration after iteration and hoping you end up with a recognizable constant? There has to be a way.

Bonus points if you come up with a method that works for Big Pi notation as well.

Pearl Harbor (2001) IMDB rating: 5.30 Plot: The above summaries do a great job of describing the dynamics of the love triangle that develops between the two pilots that fall in love with the same nurse. The movie also does a credible job of displaying the war from the American side with FDR and our side. It also shows the strategy of Japan as they plan for and execute all facets of the attack on Pearl Harbor. While all details may not be historically correct, I believe that they do the job well - all things considered. Historic events that were altered were probably done so in an attempt to also make this movie the entertaining epic that it is.

Do you believe the Nanking Rape/Massacre and comfort woman do happened?
I think many similar questions has been asked about the above topic but I am still uncertain about the findings I got (pls refer below links that supported or denied that Nanking massacre do exists)
As an overseas chinese, I do not have the exposures to read Chinese history hence what I know about this massacre or the invasion of China by the Japanese are based on books sold in bookstores or thru internet. Since I have a Japanese husband (who denied obviously and he even saw that the American bombing of their two cities is a sin and wrong and it was the American who prompted the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor!) Now, how am I going to tell my kid the truth of history whereby in japan their history books stop right before WW2 and continues right after the bombing of their 2 cities. For the japanese, their records is very clean during WW2 as they believes during WW2 Japan didnt invade other Asian countries but instead they are helping other Asian countries to drive the Western power out (even though my hubby did not denied that Japan actually invaded these countries for the raw material that could help Japan conquer whatever…..)
It makes me feel like holocaust doesnt not happen?!?! And Japan also had this mentality that history is being wrote by victory side?!?!?! so which one is real?

If you go to internet, or go to any Asian (except Japan) countries History Museums, there were tons of evidence of what happened during the War. As Chinese, I was born in Hong Kong, we had enough first person experience of what happened from our parents and grand parents.

I can understand the point of view of your husband, who obviously was poisoned by the Japanese education. What I think is, it’s not really a matter about proving, it’s a matter about recognizing and how to deal with it. It’s not about closing your eyes, but opening your heart.

I have to say the attitude of Japan was very cowardy, especially compared to Germany. The Germans admit their crimes during the war, and in order not to make this happen again, they make this very open and ensure that their younger generations know what happened. That’s how a strong country to deal with mistakes. That’s why Germany received a lot of respect and Japan does not. If you cannot be a good winner, at least be a good loser - to learn from mistakes.

History may be written by the victors, but does not mean the losers could not have their say. I still believe an all-seeing eye of justice (you may call God if you have religion) exists, you may cheat the world for 10 years, 50 years, but not forever. Longer the time elapse, more facts you’ll see.

For Chinese we do not want to hate the modern day Japanese for what their fathers/grand fathers did. We can accept Japan as a good neighbour if they can apologize sincerly for what they did, and take measures to avoid this from happening again. Just like what Germany did. Until then Japan will never receive the true forgiveness and respect from the world. And they will forever have their head low the way they bow.

A difficult question. The events are well documented but if you don’t have access to them, and can’t show them to your husband (and others) it’s hard to make much progress. Especially when they have ‘laundered’ their history to such an extent.
Your English is very good. If your children learns to handle the language as well as you do, s/he will be able to verify accounts for him or herself.
Is history written by the victors? Yes, it usually is. But where it was once possible to conceal events from the general public, modern methods of communication such as internet, and the ability to google up thousands of references to a topic, make it very difficult to distort the truth.

Although the Japanese try to minimise these atrocities they are well documented, sometimes even in Japanese newspapers of the day as in the case of officers Mukai Toshiaki and Noda Takeshi who raced to be first to kill 100 Chinese by sword. Then there are the pornographic and necrophilic trophy snapshots taken by Japanese occupation soldiers and smuggled out by courageous Chinese. As for the ‘comfort women’ a few are still alive and their testimony is well documented.
