What Dreams May Come (1998) IMDB rating: 6.30 Plot: Soul mates Chris (’Robin Williams (I)’ (qv)) and Annie (’Annabella Sciorra’ (qv)) couldn’t be happier, having married each other and had two wonderful children. Unforutnately, tragedy strikes when they lose them both in a car accident, and then again for Annie many years later when Chris is killed in another accident. A Question to all Cincinnatians who've been to Spring Grove Cemetery?
I’ve been wondering about this for a while. This was a few years ago, and I’ve never really asked anyone about it for fear they’d think I’m a bit crazy.
It was early summer and I was learning to drive back in the cemetery because it’s so large and there are lots of narrow roads and there aren’t likely to be many cars back there at all, making it an ideal place to learn. I was with my dad and he dozed off in the car, so I decided to pull over for a bit while he napped since I’d been driving for over an hour and wanted to stretch my legs. We were at the Dexter memorial which is one of my favorite spots in the summer. The trees are beautiful, the lake is peaceful, and the memorial itself is lovely. But then I heard music. I though I left the radio on, so I went back to the car but I hadn’t. People often do yoga there on nice days so I thought someone must be by the lake near the memorial. But no one was there. I walked around the whole memorial looking for anyone, but no one was there. I even thought someone might be being buried near by and perhaps there was music for that, but nothing. The further I got from the memorial, the fainter the music became and the closer I got, the louder it was. I could only assume it was coming from inside the memorial, but as always, it was locked and chained and there were the usual webs accumulating behind the gate as though no one had been there for quite some time. The music was beautiful, almost like a music box in that it had the light tinkling quality, but it was different somehow. Almost like the high keys of a piano. Had it not been for the location, I wouldn’t have said it had a haunting quality to it at all.
I don’t believe in ghosts and this is the only thing even near a "paranormal" experience I’ve ever had, but I was curious as to whether anyone has ever experienced something similar near the Dexter memorial?

How do you determine the value of sigma with infinity as the upper parameter?
For instance, I designed the sigma equations below.

X=sigma[1, infinity, (-1)^(k-1)*1/(2^k)]
X=.3333…= 1/3.

sigma[1, infinity, (-1)^(k-1)*1/(3^k)]
X=.2499…= 1/4.

How do you arrive at these answers without plugging in iteration after iteration and hoping you end up with a recognizable constant? There has to be a way.

Bonus points if you come up with a method that works for Big Pi notation as well.

They will move just like the sea but remain in the same place if the quake isn’t long. The seismic wave created by the quake will travel through the soft sands without doing too much. The sands will not collapse like mountains which are more solid. The ocean is constantly in motion as if there were quakes running through it all the time. The energy from waves passes through soft material like the ocean and is transfered on. It’s when you have harder materials that things crack and crumble.

Anyways the sands would pretty much remain the same. In order for all the sand dunes to crumble down, it would require a non-stop quake for some amount of time to level out the sands. Quakes don’t last long so the shake doesn’t allow the sands to shift enough for gravity to do the rest and pull the piles down. Things flatten from the shake and the work of gravity. Without gravity of course things can’t fall down.
