Burning smell from hard-drive… is it completely damaged?!?
Recently I changed the caddies of my hard-drive and I think something went wrong because the drive emitted a burning plastic type smell. I’m worried that this caused damage to it…because I tried putting it into to it’s old caddie.. but it no longer switched on.. does this definetly mean that my drive is gone? is there any way to recover the files on my own somehow?

Probably the only way of retrieving the data it to replace the circuit board on the hard drive with an identical one. Most hard drive manufacturers offer a repair service but I wouldn’t expect it to be cheap. If you do repair the drive then you’d be best not to try it in either caddie but to connect it straight to the motherboard of your PC. It’s a simple case of how much you value the lost data as to whether you’d bother or just consider it a lost cause.

It could be that you are blocking the fan area and it is getting hot, making it smell a bit as well as get hot. Also. is the computer running fine? If not. your hard drive could be currupted. Best thing to do, is buy a new hard drive if worse comes to worse.

Computer could be overheating, make sure your fans are running o.k. But seems like your hard drive has had it. To get your stuff out of it, cost. Also make sure if you discard it for a new one, get some one to drill lots of holes in it. This will prevent pirates taking out your private details. And using it .

Vitamin A Peel for acne prone skin?
I used to visit some type of dermatologist clinic once a month for some type of Vitamin A facial peel to treat my acne breakouts.
From memory, it was orange/yellow colour facial, stings a bit when applying and applied, washed off after 10 minutes. It works for the next two weeks to dry up the facial oil glands for a few weeks.

The way to do this is to get yourself on the Irish Foreign Births Register. This will give you a certificate certifying that you are an Irish citizen. If your grandmother was born in Ireland, you can do that. If not, you can only do that if your mother herself claimed Irish citizenship through registration on the Foreign Births Register before 1 July 1986.

If you qualify through either of those means, the first link below explains how to get yourself on the Foreign Births Register. For instance, I designed the sigma equations below.

How do you arrive at these answers without plugging in iteration after iteration and hoping you end up with a recognizable constant? There has to be a way.

How to get out of babysitting?
I’m a 13 year old girl. I used to always have to go to my neighbor’s house before school because both my parents worked. This went on for several years. However, for the hour I spent there every morning, I was either helping my neighbor (who is my age) entertain his younger brother and sister, or I was helping clean up toys and whatnot. I made sure that I was no burden to the adults in the family.

Now I am constantly asked to go babysit. I spent pretty much half of my winter break babysitting. I have to go over there at 10 AM and I don’t get to leave until 3 or 4 in the afternoon, because that’s when their mom gets home from work. My neighbor (the one that is my age) doesn’t help me at all. He just plays video games. Also, I’m the one who makes everyone lunch (soup, pasta, etc.)

I got transferred to private school, so I don’t need to be at their house anymore. I’m much too old anyway. This morning I agreed to babysit tomorrow and Saturday because my ride to school was in my driveway and I had to leave, I didn’t have time to talk about it. I feel trapped because I’m told that if I didn’t babysit, their mom wouldn’t be able to find anyone else to do it. I do get paid, but only about ten dollars for five hours of babysitting.

Now half of my four day weekend is gone and I feel inclined to babysit, but I REALLY don’t want to. I’m so bored because it’s just me and my neighbor’s little brother and sister, because all he does is play video games. He’s my age, I don’t understand why he can’t just watch his siblings himself.

Jewelry turns skin black.. help!?
My boyfriend just bought me a new necklace for Christmas from a major retailer.. it is definately gold and not fake, although its not pure gold. he spend like 300 on it.. and when I wear it the chain around the penant turns black and so does the area on my skin.. i thought maybe it was just the chain, since you mainly pay for the penant and i figure dmayeb the chain was cheap, so i placed it on my old necklace chain and it still turned that one black too. I heard and talked to somene and they said that usuall ymeans your allegic to it.. that you need pure gold (lucky him, aint? lol).. so I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or has had this problem.. and if ther eis any way to stop it from happening or anythng the retailer can do or tha ti can do myself?

i do know for a fact that if you wear foundation/make up and if real gold touches it, it turns the make up black. i dont think it is an allergic reation unless you are getting bumps, itching or ozzing out gooey stuff. oh and its normal it happens to me you just have to clean it. hopes this helps. answer my question thanks

It probably means you’re allergic. I’m allergic to any earrings that aren’t surgical steel. I’ve tried wearing pure gold and pure silver, but I usually end up with either pus spurting out of my ear or black goo clogging up my piercings. I’m pretty sure that you can’t stop it, but wear clothes that have a higher neck so that the pendant isn’t in direct contact with your skin.

I have my sister iPod touch and have some problems with it. We bought this device in Orlando, FL in our Thanksgiving vacation. To use the iPod in the vacation we connected the iPod to my step sister’s MacBook. When we came from the vacations my sister put a passcode in here iPod and she forgot it. We’ve tried a lot and now the iPod says "iPod is disabled" "Connect to iTunes". I connected the iPod to my MacBook to see if it worked and it didn’t work. She got a Windows 7 PC for Christmas and I would like to connect her iPod in her PC without having to connect it back to my step sister MacBook. How can I do this?
