what happens when you dream about dead birds everywhere?
i had a dream that something was attacking and killing black birds(but not crows) they look like eagles but the only thing white was its head and everything else was black.. it was in white snow so the blood of all the birds was very noticeable..in my dream i didn’t really pay much attention to it but when i woke up i felt like it had meaning…can anyone interpret it for me please?

If it wasn’t an eagle, it could be a hawk, which is a definite symbol of a message trying to get through. White is the color of innocence, purity and spirit; red as in the blood is the color of anger and passion. Black is the color of negativity and deception and things hidden. I think you are being warned to be cautious about who you trust right now.
IntuitiveImpressions | Jan 30, 2010

 Birds
To dream of dead or dying birds, foretells a period of coming disappointments. You will find yourself worrying over problems that are constantly on your mind.

Snow
To see snow in your dream, signifies your inhibitions, repressed/unexpressed emotions and feelings of frigidity. You need to release and express these emotions and inhibitions. You may also be feeling indifferent, alone and neglected. If the snow is melting, then it suggests that you are acknowledging and releasing emotions you have repressed. You are overcoming your fears and obstacles. If the snow is dirty, then it refers to a loss in innocence, impurity and uncleanness. Some aspect of yourself or situation has been tainted.

Some birds the bird in your dream you didnt recognize could of been:

Vulture
To see vultures in your dream, suggests that your past experiences will provide you with invaluable insight into a current situation or problem. Alternatively, it indicates that you are opportunistic and scheming. Or someone is watching you and waiting for you to take a misstep. The dream may also be a metaphor for someone who is a "vulture". Perhaps you feel being taking advantage of or
someone is using you.

Eagles
To see an eagle in your dream, symbolizes nobility, pride, fierceness, freedom, superiority, courage, and powerful intellectual ability. It also represents self-renewal and your connection with your spirituality. You will struggle fiercely and courageously to realize your highest ambitions and greatest desires.?Alternatively, if you live in the United States, then the national bird could represent your patriotism and devotion to country. If you see a nest of young eagles, then it represents your achievements and your climb to the top of the social ladder.?

Black Colored Bird
To see a black colored in your dream, represents death and the darker aspects of your character. The dream could also be pointing out your annoying habits. Alternatively, the Black bird may be conveying a message from your unconscious.

Hope this helps! Maddyrosee | Jan 30, 2010

If women think they are objectified, then why do objects from men win so many over?
I will list a few, but there are many more:
Money, cars, houses, clothes, diamonds, flowers, etc.

Some people are into material things.
I still say you can’t buy love.

 x0brunette | Nov 21, 2008

And why are you not being objective with your question. Like this question doesn’t apply to men I suppose?

Not all people are materialistic and the older a person gets the less they care about "things".
MLJ | Nov 21, 2008

 This question makes no sense

If a woman thinks she is objectified by men, she thinks that men only see her as a sexual object

If a woman likes to receive gifts (or objects, as you call them) then that’s just her personal taste and has nothing to do with being objectified.

Based on your logic, parents objectify their children during christmas when they give them gifts…?
BexV | Nov 21, 2008

Generally, the ones who are against being objectified are not the ones accepting expensive gifts from men.

"Women" are not one large collective consciousness. This will shock you…but women are people, and people are individuals.
Tracey | Nov 21, 2008

I don’t think you get what ‘objectified’ means.

The normal meaning of the term ‘objectified’ is that women are viewed more as possessions or playthings than as individual people. It really has nothing to do with presents men may give them.

As a general proposition, risk premium should increase with the risk aversion of the investors in that market?
I don’t get it! Can anyone explain what that mean?

The risk premium is the expected return above the risk free rate. The more risk averse investors are the higher the return they will require, above the risk free rate, in order to invest their money in a risky asset. Otherwise they are going to invest in the risk free asset, or something less risky. In other words expected return has to justify the risk.
One that ends with total annihilation, thermonuclear apocalypse? Preposterous! Stanley Kubrick thought otherwise. In the end his thinking prevailed. The mad saga revolves around a psychotic Strategic Air Command officer, Gen. Jack D. Ripper, who lets loose his B-52 bomber squadron on the Soviet Union. Ripper takes this unilateral action because of his paranoid belief that Communists are sapping and contaminating “all our precious bodily fluids” as part of their plan to take over the world.” Unbeknownst to Ripper, his attack will trigger the Russian’s ultimate weapon, the Doomsday Machine, a diabolical retaliatory device set to blow up the planet.

Intro: try to reach as far you can, cuz man im rewriting history, yo.

Chorus:

the sky is (not) the the limit
you can go higher
follow your dreams
you’ll make it happen
flyer than a bird
faster than a plane
show em you in the game

Verse# 1
it starts from the heart as a dream
the spark to create art went extreme
embarked to get you in my arc and it seems
im the new apostle
making you see the truth in my gospel
i grew and you know me as colossal
breath fresh air through my nostrils,
believed to be the best as the heir controlling every muscle,
i hope to achieve the success in my quest
and im truly blessed what i truthfully posses
as the gift thats able to lift the bar
the mind stable to climb the cliff to the stars,
my lines shift with the shine to get you align,
and its like wine getting old by behold im becoming gold,
I feel my soul has holes and my goals what makes the soul whole
and so i go for it
and these goals orbit around me
i want more of it to get down the imagery
i jaunt to adore it with sounds of energy

Chorus:
the sky is (not) the the limit
you can go higher
follow your dreams
you’ll make it happen
flyer than a bird
faster than a plane
show em you in the game

Verse# 2
life is going down the hill fast
its nice when i drown in the thrill and so it last,
astound and fulfill your vast class
look around until you find in the mass
of puzzles and struggles
a way to juggle those troubles
my existence is jubilant
and look at my distance as a student who’s fluent
and became prudent,
pursuant with the fluid flowing under
its the cupid throwing arrows at wonder
but all i want you to know its that as we grow
that the sky is not the limit
in these 4 or 5 minutes
we can do more and become infinite
get intimate to win it
stimulate and initiate to commit it!

chorus:
the sky is (not) the the limit
you can go higher
follow your dreams
you’ll make it happen
flyer than a bird
faster than a plane
show em you in the game

Verse# 3
the mind is omnipotent
defined as a bomb whip to imprint
a strong impression
it comes along with invention
with our long dimensions to get your attention
its un measured
the one treasure with pleasure
but comes with pressure
yet it runs fresher
like water out the faucet
my might is sharper once i defrost it
caused it to become the levitation
to my creation
no hesitation to grab the pen and jab away
im glad i had it that way
cuz i write on white on what i saw or imagined
screw the law cuz im smashing
the truths
and you can say im ruthless
but the way youve
been blind to find the truth behind this
is now opened
and how im hopin
for some change
and now im leaving chains
of remains of what ive been trying to explain
your brain is what contains the thrust
to burst out lust!

chorus:
the sky is (not) the the limit
you can go higher
follow your dreams
you’ll make it happen
flyer than a bird
faster than a plane
show em you in the game

Burning smell from hard-drive… is it completely damaged?!?
Recently I changed the caddies of my hard-drive and I think something went wrong because the drive emitted a burning plastic type smell. I’m worried that this caused damage to it…because I tried putting it into to it’s old caddie.. but it no longer switched on.. does this definetly mean that my drive is gone? is there any way to recover the files on my own somehow?

Probably the only way of retrieving the data it to replace the circuit board on the hard drive with an identical one. Most hard drive manufacturers offer a repair service but I wouldn’t expect it to be cheap. If you do repair the drive then you’d be best not to try it in either caddie but to connect it straight to the motherboard of your PC. It’s a simple case of how much you value the lost data as to whether you’d bother or just consider it a lost cause.
Mickey T | Jan 27, 2010

It could be that you are blocking the fan area and it is getting hot, making it smell a bit as well as get hot. Also. is the computer running fine? If not. your hard drive could be currupted. Best thing to do, is buy a new hard drive if worse comes to worse.
Bex | Jan 27, 2010

Computer could be overheating, make sure your fans are running o.k. But seems like your hard drive has had it. To get your stuff out of it, cost. Also make sure if you discard it for a new one, get some one to drill lots of holes in it. This will prevent pirates taking out your private details. And using it .
mike b | Jan 27, 2010

all you can do is remove it from the caddie and try connecting direct to the motherboard and check
And it turns out that the boss, Doyle Lonigan, considers it an attack on him and orders all the people involved terminated. Hooker is shaken down by a crooked cop, Snyder, who threatens to turn him over to Lonigan unless he pays him off. Hooker pays him, he then tries to warn Luther but is too late. He then goes to see Henry Gondorf, a friend of Luther’s and a one time great con-man, who has had a bit of bad luck. These ads were likely pre-planned to be released now when less people would think they need the flu vaccine, and the basic message is in the absence of getting the vaccine you can’t "fight" the illness (complete misinformation). Good citizens brandish band-aids as evidence of fulfilling their civic duty. Propaganda in the form of "together we can all fight the flu" attempts to put pressure on people to think that if you don’t get the vaccine you are somehow responsible for someone else getting the flu (a pathetic notion because you might as well blame me for your weakened immune system). Do you find this propaganda justifiable? Or, is it an insult? You think it will actually convince anyone to get the vaccine?

No, just as my tax dollars are ill spent for the TARP program, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, etc.. Nearly everything the Government spends money on is a waste.

why are you opposed to the clearing of an epidemic. these advertisements are needs so more americas get the vaccine and the epidemic can be controlled more efficiently. its not about fighting the illness, for instance, its about controlling its spread through vaccinations.
